We're Hiring!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Coordinator to join our team at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church. The ideal candidate will be emotionally stable, spiritually mature, and highly organized, with a strong knowledge of early childhood development. As the Nursery Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the care, safety, and well-being of children during regular church events, as well as special events such as Easter and Christmas services, and Vacation Bible School.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure quality care and safety for children in the nursery

- Staff and supervise the nursery during church services and special events

• Nursery Hours are Sundays 8am -11:30am
• Nursery is open from Labor Day to Memorial Day (Closed during the summer months)
• Special Church Events will include:  Easter and Christmas Eve Services, Vacation Bible School (one week in summer) and other events, as they arise. 

- Communicate effectively with parents and volunteers

- Manage nursery supplies and maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized space

- Create and maintain engaging nursery signage and bulletin boards

- Participate in training and development sessions

Qualifications:

- CPR and First Aid certification (infant/child)

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work well with others and maintain discretion

- Background check required
